The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation’s Facilities Office Building earned a LEED Platinum rating from the U.S. Green Building Council. This top level certification recognizes environmental excellence, providing “independent, third-party verification that a building meets the highest green building and neighborhood performance measures. The two-story, 3,800 square foot office building utilizes wood and steel framing.
An apartment complex providing approximately 80,000 square feet of affordable, senior housing. The project includes four separate three-story apartment buildings and two single-story community centers. The structures utilize economical wood framing construction; including roof trusses, floor joists, wood bearing and shear walls and shallow concrete foundations. The structural design complimented the architectural goals for tenant comfort and “green living”. The apartments will receive “Build it Green” certification. Construction on Phase 1 was completed in 2013 and Phase 2 is currently in the plan check process.
